Text | [Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati 6/24/1882] A species of base running not often seen was accomplished by the Cincinnatis yesterday–two men stealing bases at the same time. Fulmer was on second, and McPhee on first. Fulmer made a dash for third, and McPhee, seeing it, slid for second. Both landed safely on their respective bases at the same time, amid the admiring applause of the spectators. |
