Comment
Arthur Cummings, of the Star Club, is a young, but first class pitcher. He is the most noted of the juniors the Excelsiors trained up. He is swift in his delivery, and one who is fast attaining the first rank. Having such fielders as [Fraley]Rogers, [George] Hall, [Herb] Worth, [Hy Dollard], etc., to support him, it is no wonder he has done well. He is a good batsman, is perfectly fearless in facing the hot liners, and throws a nice ball to the bases.
