The Louisville Daily Courier, March 5, 1859 has an ad for a meeting of the Star BBC of Louisville, signed William S. Parker, Secretary.

Same, June 30, 1858, announces the formation of the Star BBC. They will play July 2nd on the commons adjacent to Kentucky and 5th Streets.
