Description

See the Honolulu Star Bulletin, May 11, 1929 (below) for an account of this game, billed as "the first baseball game played in Hawaii."

It was played July 4, 1866 at the Punahou school grounds, and won by the "natives," captained and led by a "foreigner," Charles T. Gulick (see Pioneer and Pacific Club entries for more on him).
