The Louisville Courier Journal, March 13, 1870, notes the following Louisville baseball clubs: the Little Eagles, Falls City, Kentucky, Black Stockings and Old Stabilities. These teams usually play at Cedar Hill park. Same May 19, 1870 mentions that the Eagles are to play a picked local nine.
