The Savannah [GA] Daily Advertiser, May 18, 1871: "The Olympics of Lake City played a game of base ball at Live Oak yesterday, with the club of that place."

The Arlingtons of Live Oak played the Garden City of Tallahassee for the state championship, at Madison, in 1875. Tallahassee Sentinel, June 5,, 1875
