The Herald (of Christiansted), July 2, 1917 says that on July 4th, US Marine BBCs of Frederiksted and Christiansted will play at King's Hall. Same, May 19, 1923 says the Yanks of Christiansted will play a Frederiksted picked nine.

The U.S. purchased Denmark's Virgin Islands in 1917.
