Description

The tax court case Fuller v. Hofferbert, 204 F2d 592 (1953), concerns a US engineer named Fuller who worked in the USSR 1943-45. While in Guriev (modern Atyrau):

"Fuller afterward interested the Russians in these various sports and succeeded in teaching and training a number of them to play the American games, including basketball, baseball, and football, until some good players were developed in these sports."
