Description

"CENTRAL PARK GAMES, - The Young Americas could not outshine the Golden Stars (both colored clubs), though in the attempt to do it their pitcher forcibly put the catcher of his own side out at home-base, while the runner quietly touched the plate to the great amusement of the crowd. On Thursday the Amateurs defeated the Metropolis 24 to 20, and the Etnas the Uncas 38 to 29."
